The park is open from 9.15am - 9.30pm (or sunset). If you are wanting to hire the scooter it would have to be back by 9pm.There is one electric scooter, the hire of which cannot be booked. Training is given. Parking is free.
There is a lake to walk round but although the walk is level seats are not available all the way round.
The greatest attraction to me is feeding the numerous hungry swans, geese and ducks. If you had a bread van they still would not be satisfied!
BRETTON COUNTRY PARK

The Kiosk is open weekends and bank holidays. By now there should be 2 electric scooters for free hire. Training is given. You have to pay to park and the site is uneven and not easy walking.
YORKSHIRE SCULPTURE PARK

10 - 4pm, 7 days/week days WinterBy now there should be 3 electric scooters and 1 electric wheelchair. Training is given. A quote from the centre is "the user will find the electric scooters easy to use and they provide the user with new freedom to explore the beautiful expansive site".
You can go from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park to Bretton Country Park on the scooter and vice versa.
THE WATERTON COUNTRYSIDE DISCOVERY CENTRE

Open Tuesday - Friday 11 - 4pm BST (probably 1 1 to 3pm winter)
Sunday 11 to 4pm BST Probably 11 to 3pm winter)They have 3 electric scooters for free hire. Training is given. There is free parking and a few disabled spaces. There is a slope down to the lake but it is level around the lake and there are seats approx. 150 yards apart.
There is a café that is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Also there is a room in the building for bird watchers and binoculars are supplied.
ROUNDHAY PARK and TROPICAL WORLD

Open 7 days 10 - 7pmTropical World has 2 electric scooters that can be used only in Tropical World and Canal Gardens. They are not to be used in Roundhay Park itself. Training is given.
OTLEY CHEVIN
Accessed up East Chevin Road, turn right onto Birdcage Walk, first left onto Johnny Lane. Drive up to the Whitehouse (the office not the pub like 1 thought!). 01943 465023 This is also a fax number.
Open 9.30 to 4pm.There are 2 electric scooters but you need to book beforehand. A car is needed to get here. There is a limited area you can use because of the site. No good for the less able bodied. There is a café open at weekends and picnic areas.

FOUNTAINS ABBEY
